program testing

Posted in blog with tags , on Thursday 12 June 2008 by emijayne

i’ve recently lost a bit of notes on my database development. no worries, i can research it again and recreate it. however, this has really bothered me as i thought i had all my notes in one spot. ah well.

so, i’ve been going back and forth between the idea of either keeping a note-book and trying to organize handwritten notes.. or keeping an online collection of notes where i can reach them anywhere. i really like the idea of the latter. however, i have spent days trying to find an appropriate program. this morning, i found UberNote. it looks promising.. with task checkmarks, tags, as well as in-note formatting. seemingly a great organization package.

i’ll keep you posted!  :)

Detainees = Civilians?!

Yet again the Supreme Court has made an idiotic “opinion”. Detainees of War, are now allowed to question their detainment in a civilian court?! You have GOT to be kidding me! ugh »

Update: I wanted to explain my position a bit more, but Chris Wallace beat me to it this morning.  Frankly what he said on the news this morning, is exactly how I feel…

“I have mixed feelings. On the one had, I am troubled at the idea they are going into federal court [with] some of these pro-bono legal groups trying to work the system.  On the other hand, I do think that they do deserve a day in court somewhere. Whether it is a military tribunal or whatever, I think the idea of holding these guys without any kind of independent hearing for years is not necessarily a good thing.”
